Degree project portal

I am investigating the performance of the regional trauma system in Region Stockholm, with emphasis on triage accuracy and trauma team activation for severely injured patients at non-trauma center emergency hospitals. I am also evaluating the validity of the national guidelines for in-hospital trauma team activation by examining their accuracy in identifying severely injured trauma patients in the emergency department. The project is partially funded by Löf (swe: Löf Regionernas Ömsesidiga Försäkringsbolag). We are currently exploring the possibility of using machine learning to accurately triage trauma patients in the emergency department.
